Laurie Wells joined Summit Restoration in 1985 as an estimator and project coordinator primarily in the field of historic building preservation. In 1989 the company was expanded to include Old World Stone as a fabricator of dimensional cut stone. Her work includes surveying, reporting, estimating, specification preparation, client liaison and project co-ordination. Relevant major projects and duties provided with Summit Restoration and Old World Stone include:

ARRISON RESIDENCE, BUFFALO, NY
Estimator, field dimensioning and project coordinator for replacement of ornately cast precast concrete with
custom cut Indiana limestone. This complex project involved classical detailing on a historically significant
property.

WOLSELEY BARRACKS, CFB LONDON
Estimator and project coordinator for slate roof replacement, masonry restoration, structural steel
reinforcement, electrical, carpentry, sheet metal, and painting trades. The project spanned two years at a cost
of almost two million dollars.

OSGOODE HALL, EAST PORTICO CONSERVATION - QUEEN STREET WEST, TORONTO
Project supervisor for site activities including masonry restoration, sheet metal flashings, painting, and sealant
applications.

HEINRICH HEINE MEMORIAL FOUNTAIN, THE BRONX, NEW YORK
Project supervisor and conservator for the restoration of a 40 tonne white Carrara marble monument of the
"Lorelei". Cleaning, injection, pinning, sculpting and coating was required on this severely vandalized piece of
