| The design features a temple with the
inscription"DEDICATED TO THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO
SERVED IN THE , NAVY, ARMY, AIR FORCE AND MERCHANT NAVY".
A dedication was also inscribed on the limestone retaining
wall.
Old World Stone fabricated the memorial from Indiana
buff limestone. The 2.3 metre high columns, bases and
capitals were turned in our shop on the lathe. All of
the curved entablature was hand cut by our masons and
the inscriptions sandblasted through computer generated
rubber stencils. The domed roof is galvanized steel.
