Cambridge Public Library was designed and built in 1889. Over the years various additions were constructed and extensive damage was done to the original fabric of the building. A construction project is currently underway to restore the lost detail.
Old World Stone is using salvaged East Longmeadow sandstone and new St Bees sandstone to replace the carved and sculpted detail. Field measuring and templating preceded cutting of the replacement stone.
