The entire stone façade of this 4 level residence was delaminating. Previous attempts at patching had failed.
Several options were explored and St Bees sandstone from Cumbria, England was found to be the most suitable match to the original, in terms of color and texture, and much superior in terms of durability.
Once again, Old World Stone completed comprehensive field dimensioning, profile templates, and as-built measured drawings prior to stripping of the façade. Shop drawing and cut-sheets were prepared and approved prior to cutting and carving of the Queen Anne details.
Replacement of the staircase is ongoing.
