Buffalo was booming in the late 1920’s when this executive home and coach house were constructed. Phase One of the restoration project included complete replacement of the coach house copings, parapets and cornices. The original precast concrete had failed. Old World Stone completed extensive field measurements prior to preparation of detailed shop drawings and templates for the classical detailing.
The current garden project includes replacement of all precast concrete fountains, balustrades, pedestals, planter boxes and terrace treads. Select Indiana buff limestone was chosen for the detail work. A buff colored granite was selected for all plinth courses, treads and fountain bowls, which will be in direct contact with the earth or immersed in water.
