Goodhart Hall was originally designed by Mellor, Meigs & Howe Architects of Philadelphia as an auditorium for theater, concerts and lectures. It was completed in 1928 in the English medieval style. Old World Stone carved from Indiana limestone the delicate and complicated elements of the broken and missing finials. Using an existing finial as a model, our carvers replicated the designs exactly. The topmost part of the fleché was missing.

Old World Stone prepared shop drawings and carved this complicated, eight-sided piece to fit precisely with the existing stones. Replacement scuppers and stone grafts were also required in the fleché.
