	HEINRICH HEINE MEMORIAL FOUNTAIN The Bronx, NY The fountain consists of statuary depicting Heine’s epic poem Die Lorelei. Lorelei is a mythological temptress of the Rhine River who lured many boats off course and onto the rocks. Her figure sits atop a pedestal surrounded by mermaids, dolphins and a variety of sea creatures all carved from Tyrolean and Dover marbles. View Details



	STATUE OF BEN FRANKLIN PS 157, Brooklyn, New York A small monument to a young Ben Franklin, one of the United States great inventors and statesmen stood outside a public school for years. It was recently defaced by vandals who shattered the head and right arm. Rather than replacing the entire statue, it was decided that it would be more cost efficient and historically accurate to reproduce only the missing pieces. View Details
